About Henrik

I've spent more than thirty years leading businesses internationally, most of that time in shipping, logistics and supply chain - industries that don't forgive poor judgement for long. I held senior leadership roles at Maersk, Panalpina and Damco across Asia, Europe and Oceania, including several years as Managing Director of Maersk Oceania.

That experience is the foundation for what I do now, not the point of it. I advise and mentor C-suite executives, work with private equity firms and portfolio companies, sit on boards, and co-founded Datensonar GmbH, a data-driven terminal optimisation company. Increasingly, my focus has shifted to developing and publishing original thinking on leadership, culture and transformation - questions I spent three decades living with before I started writing about them.

What I bring to a conversation isn't a framework applied from outside. It's judgement built from leading substantial, complex businesses myself - across countries, cultures and circumstances where the right answer wasn't always obvious, and where leadership rarely worked the same way twice.
